Service Specifications
Here is a more detailed breakdown of what you can expect for each of my listed services. Keep in mind that Electronics Maintenance is a broad discipline and every case is different. I may need to perform additional steps beyond those listed here. Disclaimer: Payments are collected upon successful completion of repairs. In the event that a device has been taken to PC Relieve’s Workshop, all service fees will need to be paid in full before device is returned.

PC Deep Cleaning:
Exterior Cleaning - Case surfaces sanitized and scrubbed, including glass. All residue and ground in stains removed. All ports and sockets cleaned out to remove built up dust and dirt. Stickers and accompanying residue removed on request. Monitor and keyboard wiped down and cleaned, with special attention given to removing debris trapped between keys. - $39.99
Basic Interior Cleaning - All internal dust and dirt blown off of internal components and case surfaces. Fans dusted and wiped down to remove stubborn built up dirt. Power and connector cables cleaned and organized for better cable management, ensuring smoother air flow which reduces both dust build up as well as wear and tear - $39.99
Advanced Interior Cleaning - Components individually removed and thoroughly cleaned with electronics-grade 99% Isopropyl alcohol along with ports. CPU Heat Sink removed and cleaned and fresh Thermal Compound applied to protect against overheating.
Exterior + Basic Interior - $69.99
Full Deep Cleaning (Exterior + Basic and Advanced Interior) - $99.99
Laptop Exterior and Interior Cleaning - $49.99
PC Diagnostics and Repair
Physical Inspection and Software Diagnostics - I will thoroughly inspect the inside of your computer’s case for any signs of physical damage, including things such as overly built up dust, disconnected components, or faulty/frayed wiring and cables. I will then boot up into a special repair and diagnostic environment and use a variety of tools to determine the source of the technical difficulties.
Hardware Removal and Replacement - If the problem is determined to be the result of faulty hardware, I will discuss all appropriate replacement options with you before moving forward with the purchase of a new piece of hardware. You may handle the purchase, or I will handle it on your behalf once I receive compensation for the necessary components. Once the hardware arrives, I will install it into your system and ensure that it is fully functional and the issue has been resolved.
Software Modification - If the problem is determined to be the result of a software misconfiguration or corruption, (Such as a problem with critical Windows System files) I will repair the damage by removing, repairing, updating or reinstalling the software responsible for the system malfunction. I will then ensure that the system is once against fully operational and the issue has been resolved.
Total Price of Service - $79.99 - $139.99 depending on nature and level of repair work required, plus the cost of any essential hardware or licensed software purchased to complete repairs.
Device Backup
Determine your Backup Needs: There are multiple methods through which your data can be backed-up. You can use a second internal hard drive, or you could use an external hard drive. You could also store your data on a locally stored device attached to your network, or you can store your backup through a remote “cloud-based” service like OneDrive or BackBlaze. Of course, you can always use more than one solution, your data can never be too secure. We’ll also discuss the differences between “full” backups and “partial” backups, as well as “static” or “updating” backups.
Initial Backup Creation: If you don’t currently have any form of backup, I’ll go through the process of setting up, including downloading and installing any appropriate software to manage your new backup, dependent on which method of storage that you decided on after our discussion. I’ll make sure that all desired data has been safely stored.
Backup Configuration: Once your backup is created, we will configure it according to your specifications. If you want your backup to automatically update itself periodically, I’ll take care of that process so you can just “set it and forget it” safe in the knowledge that your backup is being kept up to date.
Total Price of Service - $89.99 Per Terabyte (1,000 GB) of Backed Up Data.
Virus and Malware Removal:
Information Gathering - I will collect as much information regarding the infection as I can without risking any additional damage to the system. This will include questions concerning when the suspected infection was first noticed, the symptoms that have been experienced, how long the system has been running since the suspected infection took place, if the symptoms have worsened over time, and if any other devices on the network have been experiencing similar issues.
Hard Drive Extraction - Your infected hard drive will be removed from your computer and plugged into a piece of dedicated external hardware that will allow me to safely access it in a special repair and diagnostic environment.
Virus and Malware Scanning - I will run multiple virus scans on your hard drive to ensure that all present viruses are removed.
System Recovery - After ensuring that all viruses have been removed, I will go through your system with you to go over steps to prevent recurring infection. I will also go over the necessary actions you should take to mitigate any potential damage that could still occur even after the infection is resolved.
Total Price of Service - $109.99
Android Screen and Battery Replacement
Provided that you have the replacement part on standby, I can remove and install your new battery or screen on the same day in a single visit. If you need to purchase a screen or battery, I can handle procuring those replacement parts given reimbursement for the cost of the parts as well as a few days to allow for shipping.
Once your new screen or battery has been installed, for a small additional fee and the cost of components and I can also install a screen protector and phone case to protect against future damages.
Total Price of Service: $59.99 per installed component, plus cost of component if not provided.
$9.99, plus cost of case and screen protector, to install both onto your repaired phone.
Data Transfer
Once you have provided me with the new hard drive, and I’m able to remove your existing hard drive from your computer, I will use special hardware and software to produce a perfect copy of your original hard drive, and then write the full contents of that copy to your new hard drive. Once this process is complete, your new hard drive (as well as your old one should you specify) will be installed back into your computer and I will make sure that it’s functioning as intended and that all of your data has been safely transferred.
Total Price of Service: 89.99 Per Terabyte of Transferred Data.
